The Bruins then scored three runs in the sixth inning off of a home run by Jordan Woolery, leaving Alabama struggling to keep up.

The pressure was on for Alabama as they faced elimination with their next game against the loser of the Duke vs Oklahoma matchup. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to recover from their deficit and ultimately fell short in their opening round game.
