Airbus is set to supply 152 aircraft to Cebu Pacific Air in a $24 billion (€22.4 billion) deal, making it the largest aircraft order ever in the Philippines. The order includes 102 A321neo aircraft with an option for another 50 units. This marks a significant milestone for both companies and underscores Airbus’ position as a leading aircraft manufacturer in the industry.

Cebu Pacific Air, which is the largest player in the Philippines aviation market, already has a fleet of about 85 Airbus aircraft, along with some smaller propeller planes. The company expressed their continued confidence in Airbus’ products and thanked them for their support.

Airbus looks forward to finalizing the contract in the third quarter and strengthening its partnership with Cebu Pacific Air. The A321neo is Airbus’ best-selling aircraft, and the order book for these planes is filled for years to come. This deal highlights the growing demand for modern and efficient aircraft in emerging markets like the Philippines.
