The popularity of streetwear in the fashion industry continues to thrive despite predictions from prominent figures such as Tommy Hilfiger and the late Virgil Abloh that it would end. In a pre-show interview at New York Fashion Week, Hilfiger expressed doubts about its longevity while Abloh, known for bringing streetwear into the luxury realm, also made similar predictions in 2019. However, it appears that their predictions were incorrect and streetwear is still very much alive and well in the fashion industry.
