In November, Winston Watkins Jr. decommitted from the University of Colorado, but the school has managed to secure his commitment once again. The highly-rated prospect is a wide receiver in the class of 2025 and hails from Venice, Florida.

Despite his impressive athleticism and reputation as an effective slot position player, Watkins stands at only 5-foot-10 and weighs just 172 pounds. However, he is able to compensate for his small size with his advanced route-running skills and elusiveness on the field. He is known for being able to outrun opponents when given the opportunity.

With college football powerhouses such as Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Penn State all vying for his services, competition for Watkins’ commitment is fierce. However, the fact that Colorado remains in contention is a positive sign for the Buffaloes program.
