John Ofenloch, a seasoned industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, has recently joined AE Industrial Partners as the president of the AE Shoals Manufacturing and Technology Center. In his new role, Ofenloch will be responsible for driving growth at the aerospace and defense facility by accelerating occupancy, leading campus expansion efforts, and overseeing the company’s growth initiatives.

Prior to joining AEI, Ofenloch worked at Satori Capital, a multi-strategy investment firm. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at companies such as Astro Telecommunications, RANGER Wireless Solutions, FTI Consulting, Nanovation Technologies, and Authorgenics. Chris Emerson, a senior partner at AEI, expressed excitement about utilizing Ofenloch’s experience and expertise to drive growth at AE Shoals as it prepares to welcome its first tenants in the coming months.

AEI’s affiliate Rocket Shoals acquired the industrial facility from Retirement Systems of Alabama earlier this year with the goal of establishing a manufacturing center of excellence focused on aerospace, defense, and industrial services. To support this goal, AEI has also appointed Mike Lanier as VP of development and Nick Willis as facility manager. With these key hires in place, AEI is well-positioned to accelerate growth at the AE Shoals Manufacturing and Technology Center.
