The annual media technology conference hosted by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) is the premier event for industry professionals to connect, learn, and network with global leaders in the field. This year’s Media Technology Summit 2024 will be held from October 21-24 at the Ovation Hollywood in Hollywood, California.
According to Marc Zorn, SMPTE Hollywood Chair and Conference Co-Chair, attendees can expect an even bigger and better Summit this year. Keynote speakers will discuss their experiences with technology and how it has impacted their filmmaking process. Participants will also have access to peer-reviewed technical sessions, invited presentations, panels, and the Solutions Hub at the conference.
New features this year include the Tech Trek, which offers interactive exhibit tours showcasing the latest technology discussed during the sessions. In addition to on-site activities, there will be off-site experiences on October 24 for those interested in exploring more.
