The Dubai market has seen a surge in new investors, with 44,580 new accounts being opened since the beginning of the year. This is an increase of 102% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, there has been a significant influx of foreign investors, accounting for 87% of all new investors.

Abdullah Salem Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Group, commented on the strong demand for investment opportunities in the region. “The Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange has experienced steady growth throughout the year,” he said. “We are pleased to see an increasing number of foreign investors joining our platform and taking advantage of our diverse range of investment options.”

Data from the Dubai Financial Market showed that brokerage firms added 44,580 new investor accounts in the first five months of the year, with 8,026 accounts added in May alone. This represents a growth rate of over 35%. Overall, this trend suggests that investor confidence is high and that there is continued interest in investing in UAE financial markets.
