On Monday, the world’s largest Buc-ee’s opened its doors to the public in Luling, Texas. Located just a short distance from the original site that caught fire during demolition on the same day, the new travel center offers a wide range of items including brisket, Beaver nuggets and more.

Despite being close to the old location, the fire did not affect the new center. The cause of the fire is still unknown but it occurred during excavation process when excavators were being used. The original Buc-ee’s in Luling opened in 2003 and marked the start of brand’s success and expansion to 49 locations in nine states. Now, with 35 Buc-ee’s locations in Texas alone, it leads the state with its convenience stores. Additionally, Buc-ee’s claims to have world’s longest car wash at 255 feet located near Houston.
