Columbus Community Hospital has been recognized by the Nebraska Safety Council as a recipient of the 2023 Worker 360 Wellness Award. This prestigious award acknowledges organizations for their outstanding achievements in promoting total worker well-being.

Danielle Frewing, the director of Occupational Health Services for the hospital, expressed her gratitude for the recognition, stating that the hospital has dedicated years of effort towards developing a comprehensive wellness program for its employees. She emphasized the importance of collaboration and support from various individuals who share the same vision of enhancing the health and wellness of the community.

The Worker 360 Wellness Award offers three levels of recognition: bronze, silver, and gold. Each level highlights companies that prioritize worksite safety, worker well-being, and comprehensive wellness and safety initiatives for their employees. Columbus Community Hospital accepted the bronze award at the 46th Annual Nebraska Safety Council Conference on April 24th. This achievement reflects the hospital’s commitment to promoting a culture of wellness and safety among its workforce.
