David Schwimmer, the CEO of LSEG, expressed optimism about the company’s performance at the beginning of the year. He was pleased to report that they had experienced solid growth in line with their plans, with strong performances in FTSE Russell, Risk Intelligence, and Tradeweb. Additionally, the Equities business saw a return to growth.

Schwimmer also highlighted the ongoing innovation within LSEG. Several new products are expected to launch throughout the year, and progress has been made in the Microsoft partnership. Several products are set to enter external pilot or general release in the near future. Furthermore, the migration of datasets onto the Microsoft platform is underway which will enhance customer access to LSEG’s data.

Looking ahead, Schwimmer expressed his confidence that further progress would be made in various aspects of the business. He remains optimistic about LSEG’s prospects for the rest of the year and believes that they will continue to achieve solid growth and innovation.
