Antalya Hosts World Athletics Race Walking Championships as India Takes Center Stage in Men’s and Women’s Competitions

The World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships will be held in Antalya, Turkey on a 2km looping course near the Expo Centre. The start and finish lines will be located in front of the Expo 2016 Botanical Park. Several Indian athletes have already met the Paris Olympics qualifying standard in the men’s and women’s 20km race walk, including Akshdeep Singh, Vikash Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Suraj Panwar, Servin Sebastian, Arshpreet Singh, and Priyanka Goswami.

At the championships, Suraj Panwar, Ram Baboo, Vikash Singh, Servin Sebastian, and Arshpreet Singh will compete in the men’s team 20km race walk. Meanwhile, Manju Rani, Payal, Pooja Kumawat, Mokavi Muthurathinam
