The Ministry of Health has officially denied Guy Ben Shimon’s claim that about 50 Nova Festival survivors had committed suicide. According to the Ministry, they do not have data on the number of suicides or hospitalizations among the survivors, and the figures mentioned in the speech were incorrect. Dr. Gilad Bodenheimer, head of the mental health department at the Ministry of Health, emphasized that rumors about suicides and hospitalizations were false and that the data was unknown.

On a different note, the Ministry of Health is actively providing psychological and psychiatric care to survivors of the massacre at the Nova and PsyDuck festivals in collaboration with Bituach Leumi and the Ministry of Social Welfare. They are following a comprehensive government solution proposed by the Prime Minister’s Office.
