The Green and Gold Coaches Club, a fundraising initiative that supports the Southeastern Louisiana University women’s basketball program, will be hosting Bunko for Basketball on Friday, May 3 at the SLU War Memorial Student Union Ballroom. This event will kick off with dinner at 6 p.m., followed by fast-paced and fun Bunko games starting at 7 p.m. Along with the games, there will be raffles, prizes and a silent auction with a Green and Gold theme.

Tickets for this event are currently available online at www.LionSports.net/bunko2024 or at the LAA office in the Dugas Center for Southeastern Athletics. Members of the Southeastern women’s basketball coaching staff and PRIDE also have tickets available for purchase. Admission on the day of the event is $50, while tickets purchased ahead of time cost $45. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the Green and Gold Coaches Club which helps fund the SLU women’s basketball program.

Head women’s basketball coach Ayla Guzzardo stated that Bunko for Basketball is an excellent opportunity for fans to enjoy a fun night out while supporting their student-athletes and staff members. The event provides an opportunity to get to know more about the players and coaches of the SLU women’s basketball team.
