The University of Idaho College of Science is hosting Vandal Science Days, a two-day science event on April 19-20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) in Moscow. This free, public event offers hands-on science experiences for participants of all ages.
Vandal Science Days provides an excellent opportunity for the community to learn more about the exciting research and discoveries happening at the University of Idaho’s College of Science. It’s a chance to get hands-on experience in various scientific fields and to interact with experts in the field. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or simply someone interested in science, this event has something for everyone.
Some of the highlights include hands-on activities like a fossil dig and comet making, as well as special presentations by faculty members on topics such as arsenic in beauty products and archaeochemistry. There will also be workshops exploring the connections between science and music as part of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, which coincides with the event from April 17-20.
