Celebrate Science Day is coming to Wyomissing on April 28! The Reading Science Center is excited to host this event, which will feature a range of science activities for the whole family. Guests can explore various types of science, including physics, chemistry, botany, and engineering.

The event will take place rain or shine at the grounds of Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) at Tower Health in Wyomissing. Admission and parking are free for all guests. Dana Peterson, Professor and Director of Anatomical Sciences at Drexel University College of Medicine’s West Reading Campus, expressed excitement about bringing this event to the community and celebrating science with new neighbors.

Celebrate Science Day promises to be a fun-filled day for the whole family. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with roaming science characters and participate in hands-on activities presented by the Reading Science Center, Drexel medical students, and other community partners. Food and music will also be available throughout the day.

This community event is part of the Reading Science Center’s mission to provide experiential STEM education to the Greater Reading Area. Jim Cinelli, Founder and Board President of the Reading Science Center, expressed excitement about sharing engaging STEM activities in an outdoor setting for the first time.
