In a significant move to support children’s mental health, Morgan Stanley has announced a $20 million pledge over five years to its children’s mental health initiative. This brings the bank’s total commitment to $50 million since its launch in 2020.

Ted Pick, CEO of Morgan Stanley and chair of the advisory board, highlighted the firm’s dedication to giving back to children’s health as a central part of their mission. This pledge marks one of the first major charitable commitments made by the firm since Pick assumed leadership in January.

As part of the new pledge, the bank will be funding an education center operated by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind Sesame Street. The programs will be targeted towards children in marginalized communities in the United States.

The Morgan Stanley Alliance for Children’s Mental Health supports nonprofit organizations conducting research and implementing programs that focus on youth mental health. This latest commitment reflects their ongoing efforts to support children’s mental health and their contribution to improving the well-being of youth across marginalized communities in the United States.
