Oklahoma City Animal Welfare and the police are joining forces to catch a man who was caught on video abusing a puppy. The incident occurred outside a business in southeast Oklahoma City, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

The video footage showed the man holding the dog by its back legs and dragging it along the ground as he walked. He punched, kicked, and stomped on the dog multiple times before abandoning it as it crawled away. The dog has not been found, leading to fears that it may have died due to the injuries inflicted by the man’s actions.

Jon Gary, the Animal Welfare Superintendent, expressed concern about individuals who harm animals as it could be a sign of potential dangers to society. Investigators believe that the man may be living in a homeless camp or a nearby home, given that he was on foot at the time of the incident. They are urging anyone with information about the man in the video to come forward as he poses a danger to both animals and people.

Without an arrest, there is concern that the man may continue to commit violent acts, potentially escalating to more severe crimes. However, Oklahoma City Animal Welfare has received tips about this case and is working closely with law enforcement agencies to identify and apprehend him. To provide information, individuals can contact Oklahoma City Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. By working together, we can bring justice to this perpetrator and prevent future acts of violence towards animals and people alike.
