I spent six years working as a park ranger in both state and national parks, an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. During my time as a park ranger, I frequently encountered travelers seeking advice on which national park to visit. With the increasing popularity of national park visitation, people are looking for recommendations on where to spend their vacation time. While it was difficult to choose a favorite, I always had a list of top six parks that I would recommend to travelers.

As a park ranger, I spent countless hours exploring the beauty of nature and working hard to protect it for future generations. My work took me to some of the most iconic locations in the country, such as Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. However, it was also my duty to appreciate lesser-known parks like Shenandoah National Park, Congaree National Park, and Yosemite National Park. These hidden gems offered just as much natural beauty and wonder as their more well-known counterparts.
