Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co., a dog-friendly coffee shop in Silvis, Illinois, announced on their Facebook page that they will be closing down next month. Despite multiple efforts to save the business, including extending hours, changing business strategies, fundraising and reaching out on social media, the coffee shop located at 1251 Avenue of the Cities has not been able to recover from its financial struggles.

The closure comes after the business owner expressed gratitude to their loyal customers and supporters in a post on Facebook. They thanked everyone for their support and appreciation while expressing love for their customers and the community.

Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co. still has a Corgis and Coffee event planned for April 6 at 10 a.m., which they are looking forward to hosting. The coffee shop is currently selling as much inventory as possible before closing and will provide an update once an exact closing date is determined.

The upcoming closure of Barkin’ Beans Coffee Co serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by small businesses, especially in the current economic climate. It is a call for continued support for local businesses and the impact they have on the community.
