Lumo, a smart irrigation technology firm, has partnered with PumpMan NorCal, a company that provides maintenance, repair, and replacement services for water and wastewater pumping systems. Through this collaboration, Lumo will make its Lumo One smart irrigation valve accessible to farmers in Northern California. PumpMan NorCal will be responsible for stocking, promoting, demonstrating, installing, and servicing Lumo One in all irrigation systems within the region.

The partnership between these two companies is aimed at advancing water conservation in agriculture by combining cutting-edge irrigation solutions with extensive service capabilities and distribution networks. Devon Wright, CEO of Lumo expressed excitement about the partnership with PumpMan NorCal and highlighted the shared commitment to sustainable agriculture. Jason Smith, general manager of PumpMan NorCal praised Lumo’s innovative technology and emphasized the importance of efficient distribution.

Lumo’s Lumo One smart irrigation valve enables growers to precisely monitor and control the amount of water applied to their crops leading to reduced labor costs, minimized water wastage and eliminating irrigation uncertainty. The Ops Center software for irrigation management further helps growers manage their irrigation systems efficiently. With this partnership in place, growers in Northern California can now benefit from these advanced technologies while also having access to reliable service and support from PumpMan NorCal.
