The 2024 World Nature Photography Awards showcase a diverse range of captivating images that highlight the beauty of the natural world. Winning photographs were selected in 14 different categories, including Underwater and Animal Portraits. One standout image capturing gannets fighting over a fish in the Shetland Islands earned the grand prize in the contest.

The competition attracted thousands of entries from photographers around the globe, and a panel of expert judges carefully reviewed each submission to determine winners across various categories. In addition to promoting sustainability, the World Nature Photography Awards team also plants a tree for every photo submitted to the competition, as well as for every print sold of a winning photo.
