The long-awaited 2024 Men’s College World Series is set to begin on Friday at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. Eight teams remain in the field, with one eventually being crowned national champions. However, there is still plenty of baseball to be played before that happens.

This year’s College World Series field is evenly split between the ACC and the SEC, with four teams from each conference advancing through the super regionals. The round-robin format will feature two games each day until June 20, leading up to the best-of-three final starting on June 22.

The first day of games on Friday will feature North Carolina vs. Virginia at 2 p.m. ET and Tennessee vs. Florida State at 7 p.m. ET. Fans can tune in to watch both games live on ESPN and stream them online on ESPN+.

Excitement is building as the 2024 Men’s College World Series is about to kick off, and fans will be eagerly watching to see which team will come out on top and be crowned the national champions.
