Eric da Silva Moreira, at just 18 years old, is the newest addition to Nottingham Forest’s squad for the upcoming season. Despite his youth, Moreira brings excitement and potential to the team under manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Having spent nearly a decade with German club St Pauli, Moreira has developed into a quick, versatile, and direct wide player who can operate on both the right and left sides of the field.

Last season, Moreira made appearances for both St Pauli’s under-23s and under-19s teams, showcasing his skills and scoring ability. He has also achieved success on the international stage, winning both the European Championship and World Cup with the Germany Under-17s in 2023. Moreira comes from a family with a strong football tradition and may even face off against his cousin, Diego Moreira, who plays for Chelsea.

Looking ahead, Moreira is eager to contribute to Nottingham Forest’s success and integrate into the squad quickly. His move to the English club represents a new chapter in his burgeoning career and promises an exciting future ahead.
