The 17th annual Sports Business Awards are happening tonight at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York. The event aims to recognize excellence in the sports business world over the past year, with 90 nominees in 16 categories.
Among those being honored is Arthur M. Blank, owner of the Falcons and Atlanta United, who will receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, the McLendon Foundation will be presented with the Celebration of Service Award.
The nominees for the Executive of the Year award include Jessica Berman from NWSL, Josh Harris from Commanders and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, Jorge Mas from Inter Miami CF, Rob Manfred from MLB, Mark Walter from Dodgers and Guggenheim Partners, and Brett Yormark from the Big 12.
